Want to share your passion for books? Are you interested in the craft of reviewing?

The Newtown Review of Books is very excited to be partnering with the Stella Prize for our first Reviewing Masterclass on 25 September 2016. If you’re an aspiring or emerging reviewer or blogger, this is a chance to develop and strengthen your skills.

The masterclass is run jointly by NRB editors Jean Bedford and Linda Funnell. It offers practical tips and advice as well as discussion of ethical and legal issues, different approaches to critical practice, an overview of the reviewing landscape, and a handy checklist.

Participants will also have the opportunity to write a review within two weeks of the masterclass and have it critiqued by the editors.

Places are strictly limited to 10 people so if you’re interested, be quick!
